Top Smartphones for 2011
With so many phones on the market, it's hard to keep track of them all. The technology moves so quickly that it's difficult to say which phone is the best. Already this year, we've seen great phones such as the Verizon iPhone 4, Droid Charge, Motorola Atrix, Nexus S and more. These are all great phones, but the top phones for 2011 are yet to come. We've identified what we feel are the top three.
iPhone 5 (AT&T): Little is known about the iPhone 5 at this point. There have been rumors ranging from total revamps to minor adjustments. The most common rumor is the addition of a larger screen, or the potential for multiple models with different sized screens. What we do know is this: the first four iPhones were a smashing success, and Apple knows what it's doing. Expect this to be one of the top phones of the year.
Samsung Galaxy S II (All Carriers): This phone has been available in Europe for sometime. When it comes to the States, it will undoubtedly have some modified specs. A recent leak of the T-Mobile version shows a 4.5" screen and a more rounded look than the European counterpart. Sporting blazing fast processor speeds and SAMOLED screen technology, this will be one of the hottest phones when it hits US carriers in 2011.
Droid Bionic (Verizon): Announced in January, this device has seen several delays and revisions. Finally set to launch in early September, the device will be the first 4G LTE phone with a dual-core processor. With Motorola's superior build quality behind it, this device looks as though it will be well worth the wait.
